Biography: 

I Started Taekwon-Do in 1997 under the South African International Taekwon-Do Federation. Prior to opening up my own club in 2007, I taught Taekwon-Do for 3 years as an assistant instructor. I am currently a 2nd degree black belt affiliated to Magua Taekwon-Do and still as enthusiastic and passionate about Taekwon-Do as when I first started.

I strongly believe in the tenets and the oath of Taekwon-Do and ensure that my students learn and understand it as well. I firmly believe in freedom, peace and justice and hope to spread it with Taekwon Do.

Taekwon-Do is an art that cannot be rushed. If you take the time to learn and understand it, you will reap the rewards in your personal life and your career.  Because of the emphasis of discipline, focus and physical activity I believe Taekwon-Do is for everyone if they put enough effort into their training.

Marlon has the rare honour of being allowed to instruct and being fully integrated into the Magua Taekwon-Do clubs. He was originally in another organisation. Only those with integrity and true passion for teaching the art are brought into the fold, otherwise only members training from the beginning will be considered. Marlon fits the bill and makes Magua TKD proud to have him on board.
